Minerva Lodge 250

Profile

Introduction

One of the oldest Lodges in the Masonic Province of Yorkshire North and East Ridings we have nonetheless attracted many young men to the benefits and enjoyment of Freemasonry.

We are a small but enthusiastic Lodge with fifty members ranging from their twenties to their seventies, from builders to university lecturers and we meet as equals irrespective of occupation, social standing, sexual orientation, or faith.

We welcome good men from all walks of life who have an interest in meeting like-minded friends, contributing to the community and learning about Freemasonry.

One of our guiding principles is Charity, at a local, Provincial and Grand Lodge level, from the Humber Inshore Lifeboat to natural disasters such as the Turkey-Syrian Earthquake.

As Freemasons we encourage Brethren from other Lodges to visit us, and we likewise enjoy visiting elsewhere throughout the Province and beyond.

We also enjoy family orientated social events throughout the year, such as Ladies’ & Partners’ Night, Ladies’ Lunch and the Christmas get-together. Friendship and family are important to us.
